/TPT Series Pulse Tank.webp)
The TPT Series is an SMS-TORK compressed air storage tank for pulse-jet dust collection systems, holding a reserve of air close to the pulse valves so each cleaning pulse through the filter bags still gets the sharp, high-volume burst it needs.
A pulse-jet cleaning cycle needs its air to release in roughly 100 to 150 milliseconds to knock the dust cake off the filter media, a burst that the compressor's own output line cannot supply on demand; the TPT tank sits between the compressor and the pulse valves, keeping pressure stable at the valves and absorbing the pressure dip created by sudden air demand during a firing sequence. System operating pressure is typically 4 to 6 bar. TPT tanks are specified across cement and gypsum plants, steel mills and foundries, power generation fly ash and coal dust filtration, and chemical, food and pharmaceutical dust and fine-material recovery systems.
