SR Series SMS-TORK - Single Acting Pneumatic Actuator

The SR Series is an SMS-TORK single acting (spring-return) rack and pinion pneumatic actuator that drives the valve open or closed on air pressure and returns it automatically on spring force if air supply is lost.

Built on the same TORK RA platform as the DA series, the SR actuator uses cartridge-design, corrosion-resistant springs preloaded at the factory to guarantee a fail-safe return to the de-energized position, making it the standard choice wherever a valve must close (or open) automatically on loss of air. The extruded aluminium body is anodized as standard, with epoxy, nickel or PTFE coated finishes available for harsher environments, and stroke is adjustable by plus or minus 5 percent in both directions. Connections follow ISO 5211 and DIN 3337 for the valve mounting and Namur VDI/VDE 3845 for solenoid valves, limit switch boxes and positioners, and compressed air quality should meet ISO 8573-1 class 7-4-4.
