DA Series SMS-TORK - Double Acting Pneumatic Actuator

The DA Series is an SMS-TORK double acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator, driven by compressed air in both the open and closed directions for applications that do not require a spring fail-safe return.

Sharing the same TORK RA body, piston and bearing design as the SR series, the DA actuator can be converted to single acting simply by fitting springs and a spring-side cap, which keeps spares and stock interchangeable across a plant running both action types. The extruded aluminium body is anodized as standard, with epoxy, nickel or PTFE coated finishes available for harsher environments, and stroke is adjustable by plus or minus 5 percent in both directions. Connections follow ISO 5211 and DIN 3337 for the valve mounting and Namur VDI/VDE 3845 for solenoid valves, limit switch boxes and positioners.
