TORK-PSA Series SMS-TORK - Stainless Steel Body Pneumatic Rotary Actuators

The TORK-PSA Series is an SMS-TORK rack and pinion pneumatic rotary actuator built entirely in stainless steel, body, cover and pistons alike, for offshore, marine and aggressive chemical environments where an aluminium or coated actuator would eventually corrode.

The PSA...DA double acting line converts to single acting by changing the spring and cap, delivering output torque from roughly 25 to 1080 Nm at 6 bar across the size range, for example 11.6 to 34 Nm on the PSA100 size and 580 to 1180 Nm on the PSA140 size across 3 to 8 bar feeding pressure, with a -48 to 80 degree C operating range. It carries an IEC 61508 SIL3 certificate and ATEX 94/9/EC approval (EX II 2GD c IP67 T6), with valve connection to ISO 5211 and limit switch, positioner and directional valve connections to Namur VDI/VDE 3845, 3846 and 3847, suited to ball and butterfly valve or damper control in chemical, food, irrigation, fish farming and offshore applications.
