T-DAF SMS-TORK - Plastic Tube Variable Area Flowmeter

The T-DAF is an SMS-TORK patented, durable plastic tube variable-area flowmeter (rotameter), giving a direct visual flow rate reading on a graduated taper tube without any power supply.

Covering DN15 through DN65, the T-DAF is built with an AS taper tube and ABS screw cap, setting and float, offered in a long-tube version without a leader scale or a short-tube version with one, and connecting either by solvent-glued joints or by BSP threaded female connections from 1/2 inch up to 2 inch depending on size. It is rated plus or minus 4 percent accuracy, 0 to 60 degrees C and up to 0.6 MPa working pressure, with flow ranges from as low as 5 l/h on the smallest DN15 short-tube model up to 60 cubic meters per hour on the largest DN65 size.
