TORK EM10 Series SMS-TORK - Electromagnetic Flowmeters

The TORK EM10 Series is an SMS-TORK electromagnetic flowmeter for conductive liquids, available as a square remote-mount, square compact or circle compact body style across pipe sizes from DN10 up to DN3000.

Measuring by Faraday's law of induction with no moving parts in the flow path, the EM10 covers a velocity range of 0.2 to 12 m/s at an accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 or plus or minus 0.2 percent of reading, on liquids with a conductivity above 5 microsiemens per centimeter (above 20 for demineralised water). Process temperature runs to 60 degrees C with an Ebonite liner or 150 degrees C with PTFE (Teflon), pressure rating runs PN10 to PN100 depending on pipe size, and the converter is powered from 85 to 265 VAC, 24 VDC or battery, with pulse, frequency, RS485 Modbus or 4-20 mA output (HART optional). Installation calls for 5 x DN of straight pipe upstream and 3 x DN downstream, and the body is TURKAK-accredited calibration capable, with stainless steel body, loose flange or wafer-type options available.
