Samson Type 3730-4 Electropneumatic Positioner with PROFIBUS-PA

The Samson Type 3730-4 Electropneumatic Positioner is a smart, bus-powered field device complying with PROFIBUS-PA specifications based on IEC 61158-2 transmission technology, cyclically comparing the set point received over the network to the valve travel or opening angle and issuing a corresponding pneumatic output.

It covers a valve travel of 3.6 to 300mm or opening angle of 24 to 100 degrees, is PROFIBUS-PA Profile 3.01 certified fulfilling Profile 3.02 requirements, gives classified status alarms per NAMUR NE 107, offers a DTM file for FDT/DTM integration, permanently stores all parameters against power failure, and supports adjustable output pressure limitation and an activatable tight-closing function.
