Samson Type 3730-0 Electropneumatic Positioner

The Samson Type 3730-0 Electropneumatic Positioner attaches to pneumatic control valves and assigns the valve position to a 4 to 20mA input signal from a control system, issuing a corresponding pneumatic output pressure, with simple attachment to SAMSON direct-attachment, NAMUR rib or VDI/VDE 3847 interfaces.

It covers a travel range of 5.3 to 200mm, uses a calibrated gearless travel sensor, provides an analog pneumatic output that prevents pulsing on a leaking actuator, draws a small electrical load below 300 Ohms on its two-wire system (explosion-protected or standard versions), consumes approximately 110 ln/h of air independent of supply/output pressure, and is housed in an aluminum enclosure rated IP66.
