The Moxa MGate 5118 Series is an industrial protocol gateway that converts SAE J1939 (CAN bus) data from engines, generators and heavy-duty vehicle ECUs into Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, PROFINET IO Device or EtherNet/IP Scanner/Adapter formats for PLC and SCADA integration.
It offers 2 auto-MDI/MDI-X 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with 1.5kV isolation, a DB9 RS-232/422/485 serial console/port with 2kV isolation (50bps to 921.6kbps), a microSD slot for configuration backup and event logs, web-based configuration wizard, HTTPS/SNMPv3 security, and wide -40 to 75 degrees C operating temperature on -T models.
