The Moxa AWK-3131A-RTG-US is a Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) wireless AP/client purpose-built for railway train-to-ground (T2G) communication, with M12 and SC fiber LAN connectors for onboard and wayside deployment and a DIN-rail design with QMA antenna connectors for flexible installation.

It delivers seamless controller-based Turbo Roaming with handover times under 50ms, supports 802.11b/g/n at 2.4GHz and 802.11a/n at 5GHz with 64 QAM and 20/40MHz channels, covers the US frequency bands (2.412-2.462GHz, 5.180-5.825GHz), and is rated IP30 for onboard rail enclosure installation.
