Burkert Type 2000 2/2-Way Angle Seat Valve, Threaded Port (00178678)

The Burkert Type 2000 (article 00178678) is an externally piloted 2/2-way angle seat valve with threaded port connections, operated by a single or double-acting piston actuator.

The threaded range covers DN 13 to DN 65 with G 3/8 to G 2 1/2 ports (NPT on request), in a gunmetal or cast 316L stainless steel body. The actuator is made of PA or PPS depending on the ambient temperature, and the PTFE seat seal handles media from -10 to +180 C, including water, alcohol, oils, fuel, hydraulic fluids, salt and alkali solutions, organic solvents and steam, up to 600 mm2/s viscosity. The packing gland uses PTFE V-rings with spring compensation. Pilot medium is air or neutral gas at up to 10 bar for actuator sizes 40 to 80 mm. Flow can be below or above the seat, and the control function can be converted.
