Burkert Type 8694 Digital Electropneumatic Positioner for Integrated Mounting

The Burkert Type 8694 is a compact digital electropneumatic positioner that mounts directly on Burkert pneumatic process control valves.

The pilot air duct is built into the actuator, so no external tubing is needed. A contactless analogue position sensor detects position without wear, over a linear stroke of 3 to 45 mm or 30 to 180 degrees rotary. Start-up is automatic with the X.TUNE function, and multicoloured LEDs show device and valve status. The set-point is a 4 to 20 mA signal or comes over AS-Interface, IO-Link or Burkert system bus (buS). It runs on 24 V DC at 3.5 W or less, connects by M12 multipole plug or M16 cable gland, and has a PPS and stainless steel body. It suits the 2300, 2301 and 2103 ELEMENT control valves.
