Burkert Type 8640 Modular Pneumatic Valve Island (20034283)

The Burkert Type 8640 (article 20034283) is a modular valve island that groups pneumatic pilot valves with their electrical connection, for controlling process valves and pneumatic cylinders from one compact unit.

Depending on the valve type fitted (6524, 6525, 0460, 6526, 6527 or 5470), the island takes up to 24 valve slots, with station widths of 11, 16.5 or 19 mm. Pressure range is vacuum to 10 bar. Electrical connection is by individual wiring, multipole plug or fieldbus. Every valve has a manual override as standard, and an intermediate air supply can be added through a centre feed plate.
