The Burkert Type 8626 is a mass flow controller (MFC) for high gas flows, with nominal flow ranges from 20 l/min up to 1500 l/min.
A thermal inline sensor sits directly in the gas stream for fast response, under 500 ms (t95), and a direct-acting Burkert proportional valve with an integrated PI controller does the control. Turndown is 1:50. The MFC can be calibrated for two gases, and the user can switch between them. It runs on 24 V DC, takes analogue standard signals or a fieldbus, and is IP65. The housing is coated aluminium on an aluminium or stainless steel base block. Typical uses are burner controls, heat treatment, metallurgy, food and beverage, coatings, fuel cells and test benches. Burkert marks the 8626 as phase-out, so contact TCC to confirm availability.
