The ifm AC1401 is an AS-Interface PROFINET gateway with a single AS-i master, giving an Ethernet configuration interface with a dynamic web interface for configuration, diagnosis and remote maintenance alongside a color LCD on the unit itself.
It supports PROFINET RT Device Class B over a 10/100 MBaud RJ45 Ethernet port, can be powered from 24V DC or directly from the AS-i bus, is rated IP20 for -20 to 70 degrees C storage, and carries AS-i version 3.0, master profile M4 certification.
