The RP1A23D5 is a Carlo Gavazzi PCB mount AC solid state relay switching 5 AACrms at 230 VACrms in zero cross mode, driven from a 3 to 32 VDC control signal.

The RP1 series sits between a logic board and an AC load, and this variant covers the common 230 V duty at 5 A. Zero cross switching turns the load on as the mains waveform crosses zero, which keeps inrush and conducted noise down on heaters, lamps and solenoid valves. A blocking voltage of 650 Vp and opto-isolation above 4000 VACrms give margin against line transients, and flexible encapsulation with automated component assembly supports a long service life.
