The RGC1A60D30KKE is a Carlo Gavazzi single-pole solid state contactor rated 30 AAC from 42 to 660 VAC, switched by a DC control signal and supplied with an integrated heatsink.

Driven straight from a PLC output, this contactor replaces a mechanical one on heater and resistive loads where cycling would otherwise destroy the contacts. Wire bonding on the output chips reduces the thermal and mechanical stress those chips see, raising the number of operational cycles the device survives compared with other assembly methods, while an I2t rating of 1800 A2s makes Type 2 coordination with B-type miniature circuit breakers straightforward.
