The Pepperl+Fuchs LB3106A is a 4-channel HART transmitter power supply for the FieldConnex remote I/O system, feeding 2-wire transmitters with intrinsically safe (Ex ia) field-side inputs galvanically isolated from the bus and power supply.
It detects open and short-circuit line faults per channel (configurable thresholds), supports HART communication with a 12-bit resolution and 100ms conversion time, draws 1.5W from a 12V DC backplane bus supply, occupies 1 backplane slot, and mounts in Zone 2/Class I Div. 2 or the safe area.
