Pepperl+Fuchs HiC2422 SMART Transmitter Power Supply / Current Driver

The Pepperl+Fuchs HiC2422 is a 2-channel isolated barrier where each channel can operate as either a transmitter power supply or a current driver for intrinsically safe applications, supporting bi-directional SMART/HART communication and mounting on a HiC Termination Board.

It is bus-powered at 19 to 30V DC drawing up to 88mA at 24V (max 2.1W consumption), provides 2 analog input channels (0/4-20mA from 2-wire SMART transmitters) and 2 analog output channels (0/4-20mA to SMART I/P converters or on-site displays), with a deviation under 20uA and line fault detection above 100kOhm, and is rated up to SIL 2 (Systematic Capability SC 3) per IEC/EN 61508.
