CU1521-0000 Beckhoff - EtherCAT Media Converter

The CU1521-0000 is an EtherCAT-capable media converter from Beckhoff that bridges copper and multi-mode fiber-optic Fast Ethernet links for robust industrial networking.

Operating collision-free with constant transmission delay at Fast Ethernet speed, this converter can be diagnosed as its own EtherCAT device and supports fast link control with safe closing of the EtherCAT strand in the event of a fault. It is ideally suited to bridging long distances or high-EMC sections of an EtherCAT or standard Ethernet network.
